Our team are relaxed in situations where a cool head and a sharp eye are needed. In the competitive jostle that always occurs around celebrity we will always get the interview and the shot that our client needs; as we did for The Clanranald Trust when Russell Crowe dropped in at Duncarron.
The later example shown in this clip is at the Brno race track in the Czech Republic - our client, Euro Biker Luxembourg, needed the kind of shot that a bike-mounted mini-cam just can't provide... Just as well that Rachel, our camera person for the event, was a fan of fast bikes!
For an Instructional Video, clarity, simplicity and very often budget are the main criteria.
The Glenrothes Martial Arts Centre wanted a DVD that clearly showed the exquisite Kata of their Karate style and showcased a very talented young lady. No frills, no fuss. Zen Lifestyle of Edinburgh wanted an in-house instructional DVD to ensure homogeneity of technique within their business - such high quality treatments need to be holistic, yet detailed; precise, yet relaxing. We were pleased to capture the essence of the Zen Way. The third piece in this clip was just what Marc wanted - a DVD for his M.O.T.IVATE clients to take away. As cheaply as possible. No problem.
Our clients have clients and we all know that if nobody knows you're there, or what you do, you will not do well! The Mackenzie School of English are the best and everyone should know it. Now they do. Our video for them was voted best video in the trade. Viscount Classical Organs sent the DVD we made for them everywhere.
Their customers don't have to imagine how fantastic the Regent Classic Custom sounds and looks - they play the disc or see it online and hear the professionally recorded reality. When American guitar makers Rainsong teamed up with singer-songwriter Erin Bennett it was always going to sound great. We made sure it did.
Independent Film must be, above all, two things. Very good. And very cheap.
We are not Hollywood (mercifully) but we can give them a run for their money.
Our creative department are currently making two feature films: 'SELKIE', an all Scottish creature feature production starring Charlie Allan (Gladiator, Robin Hood, Thor: The Dark World) which will be wrapped up late Spring 2016. Also 'ACCIDENT MAN', from the hit comic book, recently re-released as a graphic novel by Titan Books, starring 5th Dan British Karate Champion Paul Lapsley.
These are what we are working on - would you like us to make yours?
Charities and Third Sector
Art Attack Films are proud to work with charities and third sector ("not-for-profit")groups. We are experienced in working with folk who deal with vulnerable or sensitive situations. We have documented the plight of orphanages in Romania, Ukraine, Turkey and, as shown in this clip, the excellent work done in teaching the children of Soshanguve Township in South Africa about the transmission of the HIV virus. For FRASAC, we made an educational DVD using dramatisation to juxtapose sexual abuse with cash-based crime. For Argyll & Bute Rape Crisis we made a DVD aimed at the Polish community, explaining the kind of support that they can provide.
When Californian art rockers The Airborne Toxic Event went on tour in the UK our experienced back-stage lens crew were there to catch it all. We captured the band's fantastic performance and the 'who they really are' away from the lights and fans. Crazy Vic Wayne made his Detroit comeback - we gave him exactly the video he wanted. Righteous Sin are no longer together but their eponymous song and the video we shot for them in Alabama made the deep South steamier than a swamp.
We are also proud to present Attack Agency - our music agency and artist management team, headed by Sam White. Our growing roster includes the phenomenal Erin Bennett: the Texas Rose in Scotland who may yet be the future of pop music...
Yeah, it's corny. It's only rock 'n roll but we like it!
